Pretty much all news reporting, X twatting or good old blogging tried to make sense, pro or con, of Donald Trump first full week in the office this week. But looking beyond all of that, I’ve uncovered an insidious conspiracy that includes the new/old President, those who seemingly hate him the most, and pretty much all of us.
I know who set the LA fires and why.
As I have mentioned here once or twice, we have yet to see the mass exodus out of the U.S. that many a Hollywood star was promising if Donald Trump became President for a second term (save Ellen D). Not that it would affect their bottom line/lifestyle if they are called out by people like me for not going but what we know what our modern-day celebs can’t abide is a bad showing with one another. The solution? Either those who said they were going to leave left (and for some this was their second time saying they would heave the old ho ho ho if Trump got in again) and faced facing each other, or do the old shuck and jive, magician misdirection and divert world attention someplace else.
Hence, the snap, crackle and warmth of an overly warm LA day.
Fires were set and raged, destroying homes and property of lots of LA, and are currently sweeping further afield. This leaves well-known actors, sports stars, reality TV moguls, and YouTube influencers, as well as people not so well-known (but who cares about them) homeless and devastated. Our modern-day royalty can now cover their hypocritical never-leaving-country butts under the guise of having to rebuild homes, staying to seemingly champion their beloved city, and having to rally round the ubiquitous charity concert.
A perfect out, I’d say to their Trump outrage that they were never really going to rage anyway.
So, how it breaks down is: Donald J. Trump is responsible for running for President for a second time, the people who voted for him for getting him in, the Democratic Party for not jettisoning Biden earlier than they should have to slip in a more viable candidate (or at least give Harris more time to put in so she wouldn’t have the excuse of so little time to campaign to why she lost) the city of LA for hiring the homeless arsonists (I believe the lack of water and bad managed fire personnel and equipment really is just normal negligence) and really the rest of us for consistently allowing this kind of madness, as we are all each other’s keepers.
It takes a village to burn a village.
