Ralph Book Signing In PA

Spread the love

So, as you might know, I write lots of stuff, and some of that stuff falls into the category of stuff that only adults should read when they read stuff. And in the vein of that writing, I wrote a memoir/”how to write” book, Writing Dirty Words: The Not-So-Sexy Reality of Making a Living Writing (and the Occasional Crack of a Whip). I am going to be doing an author signing/meet-and-greet for this book at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore at the Promenade Shops of Saucon Valley, PA (2960 Center Valley Pkwy Ste 742, Center Valley, PA 18034) 9/14, from 12pm to 4: https://stores.barnesandnoble.com/event/9780062194810-0.

Yes, slightly far afield of what I usually write about here, but really this Barnes is but a mere few minutes into PA down then off of 78 and the staff, and their wonderful manager, at this massive bookstore is pretty much the best ever!

I’ve managed a few of these author-meets-their-adoring-public get-togethers (I always hope at least they will provide to be adoring…or at least interested in me and me books) and they are so fantastic. I as much get to talk about my book to those who stop by to maybe thumb through it, as I get to just jaw with a wide cross section of folks about just about whatever they want to talk about, usually prompted by the subject of the book (which, given the subject of this book can lead to very interesting conversations.) Actually, while the title might hint you to what is exists inside the pages of my tome, really, the book came out to be less about the nuts and bolts of writing ‘those’ kinds of words, and more about writing, the creative process I believe we all engage in, be one a writer, a mechanic, a tulip grower.

Also, much to my surprise and delight, the book also came out as a memoir in a lot of way. So, what I talk about with folks really does cover lots of subjects.
