A Beginning All Hallow Tickle From Ralph & Lisa

My partner in crime here at FU, Lisa, knows well how important October is to me, having celebrated a few of my past birthdays with me (my b’day is 10/30), as I have celebrated a goodly amount of birthdays with her (although her b’day is in June).

Yes, we go further back than either of us can truly believe…but it’s been all good years, to be sure.

So, in celebration of my birthday month and a holiday Lisa and I both love, here is one blog (there will be more, I’m sure) of what Halloween activities are happening around our wonderful state.

If you know of or are leading one or two events/happenings, drop us a line, we will put it up for sure!

As you can see from this link to their Instagram page where they posted this flyer, the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford has a range of Halloween 2026 activities coming up. As the above post of their flyer says, there’s “live entertainment and special events to family fun, Halloween celebrations” happening the whole month.
Events, dates, and times are subject to change. Visit AmericanDream.com for full event information and the latest updates.

As their Instagram flyer states: 𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑, 𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃. 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒. Art, history, live music, movies ‘Wednesday happenings,” all family fun stuff is happening at Adams Fest, an event this month where Westfield celebrates its favorite son, Charles Addams, the creator of the Addams Family.

This post claims to have a listing of “the best pumpkin patches in Sussex + Morris.” From
Heaven Hill in Vernon, Tranquility Farms in Andover, Ort Farms in Long Valley and Riamede Farm in Chester (just to name a few) you can surely get your pumpkin pickin’ on in many a farm in our Garden State, Sussex, Morris and beyond.

Here’s a listing of where to travel to enjoy the best colorful fall time scenery across our state’s various Somerset County Parks. I have championed New Jersey’s bucolic spaces for years, constantly battling back those folks who claim New Jersey only has the Turnpike and factories on offer. In Somerset, surely, but also plenty of communities and counties beyond, New Jersey has some spectacular places to view fall foliage and just generally enjoy a nice hike.

As I say, this is just a beginning listing for what’s coming: haunted ‘houses,’ hayrides, lots more places to pick pumpkins and apples. We will get to them in future blogs. Mmm, the season is upon us…and so is my birthday- what fun!

Spread the love
