This site, FU I’m From Jersey, the entire enterprise, really, was born from the minds of two dyed-in-the-wool New Jersians, one who was born, bred, and still resides in the state (and is never leaving) and one who was born and raised in the Garden State, but moved for warmer climes by her late twenties. The pair, friends ‘back in Jersey,’ remain the best of friends to this day, nearly forty years since they first met, and have worked together on various projects over the years. They share their Jersey ‘tude pretty much every day when they talk or text, which is pretty much… every day.
This Jersey ‘tude—some would say east-coast sarcasm, some rudeness, others a take-no-crap look at life—is what we are ‘selling’ on FUIMFROMJERSEY.
Yes, our state is thickly populated. Yes, property taxes are sky-high. Yes, driving on any of our roads, you take your life in your hands. And yes, we unleashed Jersey Shore and our brash version of Housewives on the world. But New Jersey is a great place to be from, live, and even visit. And we are honored bound to tell you why across these pages.
