Am I complaining about the same thing, in how it relates today, that everyone my age begins to rail against, mainly, that what I once cared about, needed, and enjoyed has become obsolete, pretty much as I have?
Richmond, VA-based rockers Red Reign take 80’s influences and steer them in a more contemporary direction – bridging the sounds of yesterday and today.
The band “Jelusick” is formed around singer and keyboardist Dino Jelusick (Whitesnake, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Michael Romeo, Dirty Shirley). He is joined by bassist Luka Broderick who is, like Dino, an academically educated musician.
Spacey blips flow into a synth-led danceable beat, with vocals making more music than they do an actual statement on the first tune of NYC-composer Chris Ianuzzi’s new double single.
The music on this one never finds its place for me particularly;, still, it’s as cool as the rest of what we get from Lemon Knife on Ignite.
Formed in Brussels, Belgium, in the late 80s, Black Tish comes to us now, many years after first coming onto the scene with their specific style of industrial electronica, with Throbbing Flip Out.
