Ok, now it’s actual flames!
At the end of last week, homes at to be evacuated in Hillsboro, NJ when there was an underground gas main fire that burned for 16 hours.
I keep going on and on about the NJ hellmouth (see here and here). At least now it is not disguising itself in sinkholes or water main breaks. Now we are getting real hellfire jutting up from under our terra-New Jersey-ai. Sure, sure, call it a gas main fire all you want, but we all know what this really is. The devil in New Jersey (not to be confused with the iconic Pine Barrens ‘Jersey Devil’) has finally shown his real self (oh sorry, I’m not sure how the devil is identifying these days, should I have said ‘has finally shown their real self?)
Here’s a video of the incident: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIEgQwIhDAo.
For me, all this evidence is akin to what the government is supposedly going to release about what has been hidden about alien contact over the past few decades. We all know they are ‘out there,’ we have heard the anal-probe stories, seen the pictures and videos of the saucers in the skies, suffered through a good two weeks of unprecedented drone sightings in NJ just recently. Like this alien stuff, the hellmouth in NJ really just needs to be accepted and outed as the actual truth it is. Then, when we see flames issuing forth from street grates or another sinkhole caves in, we don’t rush to false explanations like gas main leaks or roads built over mines.
Look at it this way: New Jersey, being built over a hellmouth, is just another aspect of our state that makes it so unique, like not having to pump your own gas, and the fact that we have a constant debate over whether to call our most famous food export ‘Pork Roll’ or ‘Taylor Ham.’
Come on, give the devil his due. Hasn’t he been tickling us enough with his obvious presence in our great Garden State? Embrace the hellmouth we have. It’s just another feature of what makes our state so great.
