Sarcasm, Whit and Maybe Truth
When Metal Allegiance first came together in 2014, no one could have guessed that ten years later, we’d be planning this anniversary show.
With the release of the upcoming Invincible Shield, and the band powering through performances like they just delivered at Power Trip, there seems to be no stopping Judas Priest.
The show, directed by Joe John Battista, with original music by Peter W. Dizozza, is running now until 10/15….so you best get your ass out to see it!
Richmond, VA-based rockers Red Reign take 80’s influences and steer them in a more contemporary direction – bridging the sounds of yesterday and today.
The band “Jelusick” is formed around singer and keyboardist Dino Jelusick (Whitesnake, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Michael Romeo, Dirty Shirley). He is joined by bassist Luka Broderick who is, like Dino, an academically educated musician.
Spacey blips flow into a synth-led danceable beat, with vocals making more music than they do an actual statement on the first tune of NYC-composer Chris Ianuzzi’s new double single.
The music on this one never finds its place for me particularly;, still, it’s as cool as the rest of what we get from Lemon Knife on Ignite.
Formed in Brussels, Belgium, in the late 80s, Black Tish comes to us now, many years after first coming onto the scene with their specific style of industrial electronica, with Throbbing Flip Out.
So, grab the CD, come out to see Joe Deninzon & Stratospheerius, you’ll be happy you did.
Hit the link below to pre-order the set, and you should, if you want to hear more of a band you might have only ever thought of as MTV-darlings or have never heard the full might of…or you are a Winger completist.
