In my ever forward progress for world domination (or simply to feed my legend-in-my-own-mind delusions) I get a tickle myself…
What’s more, go back now and again and see if you might shore up the girders, secure a few bolts better into the framework, and make sure the toll collector isn’t sleeping on the job; in other words, attend to that bridge you built, even if you built it way back when
I have contributed to quite a few of the magazine’s past issue now and am very proud to see my name, interviews and even fiction featured in the mag.
In yet another show of amazing taste, the powers-that-be of UK’s venerable, and quite fantastic, PROG magazine, have allowed me to contribute to their opinion-piece Paperlate, column.
When it comes to fiction, I am primarily a short fiction writer. I either do not have the skills or patience (or both) for a longer form story, a novel even.
The place really is super cool, expansive and nestled in a very cool spot not all that far off of Rte. 78 in the New Jersey Highlands, where the vistas can be quite amazing, really (see I have been telling you N.J. is beautiful!)
So, I am damn proud to make Clifton Merchant Magazine with my buddy, Joe Swarctz, the illustrator of our Echo City Capers children’s books series, in a mention the magazine gave us (see the pic).
Ralph & Joe met in Clifton High School in the late ’70s, began a fast friendship, played in local bands, and generally ‘hung out’ throughout their 20’s. Losing touch for 25 years, they reconnected five years ago and began their Echo City publishing concern.
